Campout Against Cancer

Online Team, Team Member and Survivor Registration

Campout Against Cancer is free and open to the public.  If you would like to participate in the challenges, meals or have a campsite we encourage you to register as a team or team member.

If you would like to register as a team or add a team member please do so at the event location starting Friday April 1st at noon.  If you would like to make a donation to a team please make arrangements to do so in person with your team contact.  All funds raised before noon on Saturday April 2nd will count towards team totals.

Survivor Dinner and Presentation starts at 6pm on April 1st. If you are a cancer survivor, your dinner is complementary.  If you are a family member dinner tickets will be available at the event for a donation.

Campout is taking place at the State Farm Sports Facility 9001 Ashe Rd. Bakersfield, CA.  (Corner of Ashe Rd. and Taft Hwy.)  Please follow the signs for parking.

The Kern County Cancer Fund invites you to be involved in the fight against cancer. Please join us for our third annual Campout Against Cancer by being a sponsor, creating a team or contributing towards a team.
 
This is a 24-hour celebration that takes place Friday and Saturday, April 1st and 2nd, 2016.  This event honors survivors, remembers loved ones who have lost the battle, and raises money to improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their families.
 
Campout Against Cancer raises support for Kern County patients and 100% of the net proceeds will stay local. Your generous contributions and fundraising efforts assists with medical costs associated with cancer care, i.e. prescriptions, insurance premiums, Cobra, deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance.  To find out more about how local patients can benefit from the funds raised at Campout please visit www.kerncountycancerfund.org.

In 2015 the Campout Against Cancer raised close to $400,000.  This year our goal is to raise $400,000 which translates to assisting 80 local patients with an average of $5,000 per person.  Currently over 250 local patients have depended on our support to pay for life saving treatment. Your participation matters!
